As humans, it’s natural to want instant results. We want to find the 1 ‘magic pill’ that fixes all of our problems instantly & with minimal effort!

The diet industry knows that and pushes products on us that promise easy results in an instant! Let’s take a look at just a few.

There are ingredients contained in fat burners that can lead to increased calorie expenditure. However…. They often do far more harm than good!

Side effects include: nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, panic attacks, insomnia and not to mention a nasty hole burnt in your wallet!

Ask yourself “Are battling those potential side effects, including the ongoing expenditure, your desired method for sustainable long term weight loss?”

If your answer is yes, then you need to rethink your approach (keep reading)

The weight loss results from fit-tea or other ‘tea tox’ products is often as a result of retaining less water, due to the fact that you’re consuming more water. Not to mention the laxative ingredients that some contain.

Side effects include: nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach cramps, bloating and again a hole burnt in your wallet.

I’ll ask again, ‘does that sound like a long term solution to weight loss?’ Nope.

My personal favourite ‘FAD’ solution to weight loss! Whoever invented this is a genius. A Weighted Knife & Fork!

You not only burn more calories due to the additional effort required to handle the utensils. You also have greater motor recruit, so… gains!

If anyone gets amazing weight loss results through increasing the weight of their cutlery, please let me know.

What’s The secret?

Gimmicks & shortcuts are nothing more than false promises and attractive marketing. I know that you may feel desperate for results. I know you may want that quick fix. But if you want the secret to lasting results, here it is:

MOVE MORE

It doesn’t sound as sexy. It isn’t gimmicky. It requires some planning and hard work. But the results will last a lifetime.

Look for opportunity to move more within your daily routine. Create movement habits that you can do every single day for the rest of your life.
